UV protectant

A liquid or spray that you apply to to protect something from UV radiation.
Many plastics and rubber components of kayaks and gear need periodic applications of a protectant to minimize the damage that can be done by UV radiation.
Brands include 303 Protectant and McNett UV Tech Protectant. Some paddlers use Armorall, but some manufacturers of gear do not recommend it and some specifically say not to use Armorall - check you gear's instructions on this.
