Parameter definitions

| GeneralInfo | tells us about the area in general. | blank |
| GettingThere | is driving directions from a well-known highway or geographic location. | Mandatory |
| ParkingText | provides info on where to park the vehicle and if the parking has special rules. | blank |
| PutIn | describes the put in location and any information the paddler should know (e.g. Stay off the fishing boat dock, use only the low dock to the west side of the harbour.) | blank |
| Chart | should indicate the chart or map reference number for the area. (e.g. CHS number or Topo map number) | blank |
| WaterConsiderations | identify any special info about the water in the area that should be known - such as shallows, restricted areas etc. | blank |
| Website | can be a link to a website that identifies specific information about the location. For example, if the destination is a Park, the park web site is a good link. | blank |
| GuideBook | should reference a [[guidebook]] page; create the guide book page if it does not already exist and add it to the Books page as well. | blank |

| SpecialConsiderations | describes anything that is good to know about the area, such as the presence of private land near camping areas, off-limits land, portages needed etc. | blank |
| Costs | include any costs such as parking, camping fees, launch fees etc. If you don't know the actual price, at least mention that a cost is incurred. | blank |
| Recommended | is a brief description of why the area is recommended as a paddling destination. It can include interesting sites to visit nearby (on land or by water). | blank |
