Template:Book

From KayakWiki

This is the Book Template.

For more information on templates - see About Templates

If you are adding a book to this wiki, please use this template.

To add a book, just put the title of the book in double square brackets as so: [[This is the Book Title]]. This can be on the Books page or on any KayakWiki page. Save it and then click on the red link created. This will open the edit page for the book. Insert this template (copy text between the lines noted below) and fill in the details. For an example, see Inuit Kayaks in Canada. You can click on its edit tab to see what's actually in the page.

This template will automatically add the Reference material category to the page. If another category is appropriate, you must add it.

Copy the template text between the lines below (no need to edit, just mark and copy) and paste it into the edit page. Then fill in the parameters. If a parameter does not apply, you can delete the parameter and its associated pipe (|).

Copy below this line:

{{Book
|Title=
|Subtitle=
|Author=
|Publisher=
|Year=
|ISBN=
|CoverType=
|OutOfPrintAdvisory=
|Description=
|SpecialOrderingInfo=
}}

Copy above this line.
