[edit] IE6 Sidebar vertial position problem

I'm currently forced to use IE6 at work, and I notice that kayakwiki has a fairly serious display problem on this browser. Must be the CSS tweaks you've made.

The side bar (everything on the left) disappears off the bottom of the screen. Horizontal alignment is all normal, but the top of the sidebar is vertically aligned with the bottom of the main white page content area. The footer box then appears below that, futher down again.

I'll add this to the "known bugs". Interestingly IE6 is still more commonly used than IE7 (stats), so I guess it might be worth trying to fix it.

I'll have to find a copy of IE6 and check it out. --Michael Daly 13:53, 11 December 2007 (EST)
It took a while to figure out what the problem was. IE and Firefox handle <div>s and clear:both differently. --Michael Daly 18:53, 15 December 2007 (EST)
Ah. Yeahs that's better now. -- Harry Wood 09:38, 20 December 2007 (EST)
