Spokeshave
From KayakWiki
A spokeshave is a small plane. Useful for areas not well served by block planes, such as the inside of a strip built kayak, the shave has a number of uses. It is a particularly popular tool with paddle makers.
A search of the internet shows many antique spoke shaves are available. A few commercial versions are also available.
One of the suppliers of tools reviewed elsewhere: Grizzly has both concave and convex spoke shaves in their catalog.
Lee Valley also sells some very fine Veritas spokeshaves:

If you're having problems with a spokeshave, sharpen it. The spokeshave seems more sensitive to sharpness than some other planes. Its small sole means that it can't be forced when dull. A dull spokeshave is almost useless; a sharp one is a dream to use.
