Sew on patch and recoat
From KayakWiki
For a larger tears to a SOF or folding kayak hull, especially where material may be missing, a patch of similar material to the hull material should be used. Using a dissimilar material may cause either the surrounding fabric or the patch to be a future weak spot.
Using a needle and synthetic (Polyester or Nylon) thread, stitch the original hull material together as well as possible. Then, stitch a patch over the hull damage. Use coating liquid compatible with the hull coating to completely cover the patch and all stitching. Inside the hull, cover the patch and stitching so fraying does not take place.
