Selkie
From KayakWiki
Selkie is a broad beam (60cm) relatively short (5m) fibreglass sea boat from Valley Sea Kayaks that is now out of production. Variants with a flat rear deck have, I'm told, been used for surf rescue.
It's easy to turn (for a sea kayak), responding well to leaning, and very stable (initial and secondary), though it's not too fast. Plenty of stowage room, though the original VCP round hatches can make loading relatively awkward. Mine has had the rear hatch replaced with a VCP oval, which I'd recommend highly to anyone buying one in original trim.
Not spectacular, but dependable and good natured.
