Playboating move

List of Playboating moves and tricks:
Wave Moves:
- Flat spin
- Blunt - Wave move involving a 180 degree direction change where the boat elevates over 45 degrees into the vertical plane..
- Backstab - a reverse Blunt
- Pan-Am - an over-vertical Blunt - or if you listen to Corran Addison, a vertical, 360 degree, arial pirouette, landing on the same rail you started off on.
- Grind - sliding down a green wave in a sidesurf
- Helix - (and felix) - inverted 360 degree arial spin.. Felix is when your head staysd in the water - basically an excuse for the Yanks to invent a new move when they failed to do a proper helix
- Flipturn - See sidekick
- Air Screw - aka. Donkey Flip, California roll
- Misty Flip -
- PhD Flip - You need a doctorate to work this one out
- Sidekick - from a front surf, kick the kayak into the air, then land again on the same edge you took off from.
- Mystery Flip - front loop on a green wave
Hole Moves
- Pop-out - definitely old school
- Pirouette - definitely old school
- Cartwheel also Splitwheel - vertical linked ends.
- Space Godzilla
- Tricky-woo -
- Loop - new school/old school, also Floop
- McNasty - from a backsurf hop into the air, capsize and let the rear of the boat catch the green to loop you back upright.
Downriver/flatwater Moves:
- Squirt
- Bow Stall - also Stern Stall
- Floop - see Loop, just on flatwater.
- Wavewheel - Cartwheel over a wave (usually a 180 degree rotation in the vertical plane)
- Freewheel - A Wavewheel off a waterfall
- Kickflip - downriver barrel roll
Combination Moves - controversial naming
- Phonics Monkey - pirouette/loop combo
- Bread and Butter - Pan-am/backstab combo
Add Clean as a prefix to any of the above moves to indicate they are done with no paddle strokes.
