Obstacles

Obstacles are anything which inhibits the flow of water along its path. Obstacles can be below the surface of the water, hanging in the water, or growing out of the water. In trying to flow around the obstacle the water creates ripples or eddies that can give an indication of the obstacle, even if you can't see it.
