Inuktitut
From KayakWiki
Inuktitut is Inuit language. There are a number of dialects of Inuktitut across the Arctic. In Canada, Inuktitut is written with syllabics, a phonetic alphabet derived from one originally developed for southern First Nations' languages. In order to adapt the southern syllabics to Inuktitut, several changes were required to capture the sounds of Inuktitut. These changes were mostly to add diacritical marks.
In Greenland, Inuktitut is written using European letters.
