Hat roll

A one handed roll which allows you to keep your hat dry. Also called the Dry hat roll.

Described capsizing to the left.

1. Start to capsize.
2. On way down remove hat with right hand and hold over bottom of inverted boat.
3. Reach up with left hand on left side of boat and pass hat from right to left hand.
4. Extend left hand high above water.
5. Place right hand as if for normal hand roll.
6. Roll up using right hand and VERY strong hipflick.
7. On way up place hat back onto head.
