Extended paddle

By "extended paddle", we mean that the paddle has shifted laterally so one hand (the inboard hand) holds the paddle blade while the other hand is on the shaft. This greatly increases the leverage that can be applied by the paddle, thereby making the roll much easier.

A shorter extension with a Euro paddle can be done by holding the shaft with the inboard hand at the blade root rather than near the tip.
