Emergency hull repair

Anything temporary that can be applied while on the water, or on remote land to enable a person to paddle their kayak back to the put in. Your repair kit should contain some or all of the following equipment to provide flexibility and security of repairs on the watet or on land far from the nearest convenient shop.
On-water fixes include:
- Bituthene Miradry Denzo covering the hole.
- Large garbage bag held in place by bungee cord.
- Duct tape completely covering the hole.
- Inflated float bag inside compartment--may require 2 or 3 bags to get completely filled.
On-land fixes include:
- Quick curing epoxy and fiberglass patch.
- Two-part acrylic adhesive and fiberglass patch.
- Bituthene, Miradry, Denzo covering the hole.
- Large garbage bag held in place by bungee cord.
- Duct tape completely covering the hole.
Garbage bags, bungies, and tape can also be used to replace a lost or broken hatch cover.
