Only a sysop can delete a page. Since there are only a couple of sysops for KayakWiki, that means that the average user cannot delete a page.

[edit] How can I have a page deleted?

If you find that there is a page to be deleted, put it into the Deleted page category. Insert [[Category:Deleted page]] on a line by itself. Save the page and a box with the title will be added. If there is already a category for the page, Deleted Page will be added to the list of categories.

You should write a few words explaining why (even if it's obvious to you). A useful idiom looks something like:

Periodically, when a sysop checks the Deleted page category, he will delete the page permanently.

If you believe that a page has been erroneously marked for deletion, simply remove the category line.

[edit] Why should a page be deleted?

A page should be deleted when:

• It is just spam
• It is obviously a test page
• It is off-topic.
• It has been merged with another page and is no longer required.
