Color

One of the best ways to effect the look of your boat is with color. Wood comes in an almost infinite variety of shades and hues. Strips of contrasting color can be added for racing stripe accents (Accent Strip). You can make intricate patterns by gluing blocks into your strips (Feature Strip). Custom pictures can be carved into the boat (Inlay). Veneers and other graphics can be imbedded into the finish of the boat.

Color choice is a good place to really customize the look of your boat... But be careful, some of these techniques are extremely time consuming.
