Chisels
From KayakWiki
No wood worker would want to be without a good set of chisels, but the one chisel I wouldn't want to be without when building a kayak is my 2"wide 24" long slick. I always find new places to use it, but where it excels is when you need to true up an edge and you can't get a plane into the right position. Particularly, when strip building, cutting the keel line straight after one side is stripped. The forms are still in the way, but a straight edge is paramount and the slick can work in and around the forms very well.
