This book is more than just a manual for constructing a Greenland-style kayaks. It includes information of Greenland-style clothing and gear as well as some information on paddle making, paddling and rolling technique. Of the various books on making Greenland-style kayaks, this one is probably the most general and, for some, a good single source. However, if you want a well-rounded view, consider as well both Morris and Starr and combine the information from all these books.
