Asia is one of the most unexplored regions of the world when it comes to whitewater kayaking. There are mountain ranges in excess of 7000 metres and there are many glaciers meaning that there is great potential for whitewater. Russian rafters have explored some of the larger rivers, but there remains much to be discovered with regards to the rivers of this continent.
