Apache Lake
From KayakWiki
Places : US : Arizona : Apache Lake
Apache Lake is a great place to paddle with less powerboat traffic than the other lakes in the Salt River chain. It is only accessible by gravel road that won't bother Northwest logging truck drivers but may be intimidating to folks used to flat land travel.

- Burnt Corral:A good place to put in for an easy paddle up to the dam (about 4.5 miles). There is one good campsite about 1 mile upstream on the left if you are planning an overnight. Downstream there are multiple campsites across the lake and away from the crowds at the campground.
