Aerial flare

These are small flares that are self-contained. They do not require a launcher.
Remove the cap on the bottom. A chain will fall out. Hold the flare at arm's length and tug the chain sharply. The flare will launch.
Good aerial flares will reach altitudes of over 100m and burn for up to 7 seconds or so. Others may only burn for 4 seconds or less. Look for the good ones.
